Abhishek Tripathi is the Managing Partner of the Firm. He is also a registered insolvency resolution professional.

Some of his notable clients include Sterlite Industries, Hindustan Power Group, Hindustan Zinc, ADM, Airtel, Archean Group, Coastal Projects Limited, Chaudhary Group of Nepal, General Motors, Indiabulls, Moser Baer Group, POSCO, and Viterra. He has been involved in advising clients in several cross border transactions, including in setting up of power projects, in Nepal, Senegal, Bhutan, Maldives and Myanmar.
Abhishek is working with several leading business groups in advising on insolvency resolution process, corporate debt restructuring and strategic debt restructuring under the schemes formulated by the Reserve Bank of India. He has been involved in several high profile M&A, private equity and structured finance deals.
Abhishek has been a visiting faculty member for insurance laws at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and at Amity Law School at New Delhi. He regularly contributes to various blogs, online magazines and has written several articles in leading national dailies and journals.
He is an alumnus of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and had worked with Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, New Delhi prior to setting up Sarthak.
Mani is a Partner and heads the Firm’s litigation practice. She also heads the Firm’s insolvency litigation practice. She is advising several clients in their corporate/ commercial disputes before various courts, tribunals and in arbitrations. Mani has been extensively involved in advising clients in financial distress in managing their litigation, and in advising on the Corporate Debt Restructuring and Strategic Debt Restructuring process of the Reserve Bank of India. Mani also has an expertise in handling commercial arbitrations in construction contracts, and power and infrastructure projects. She also manages Firm’s practice in education sector and policy intervention.
Mani also has had significant experience as a corporate transactional lawyer, and she has been involved in setting up of managed funds including offshore funds and venture capital funds.
Mani has been involved in advising the Government of India in developing legal documentation for public-private partnership projects in the education space. She has advised the Government of Delhi on review of its school education laws and was invited by the Parliament's Standing Committees for expert depositions on bills like Registration (Amendment) Bill, National Academic Depository Bill, 2011, the Higher Education and Research Bill, 2011, and the Consumer Protection (Amendment) Bill, 2011.
Mani has also been working on issues relating to prevention of sexual harassment at workplace. She has drafted the Codes for Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Work Place of several companies, and serves on the internal complaints committees of some of them.
Mani is also a prolific writer, having contributed articles on legal issues in newspapers, legal journals and legal blogs.
Mani is an alumnus of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and had worked with Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, New Delhi before joining Sarthak. Mani is also empaneled with the Competition Commission of India for advising the Competition Commission of India.
Anubhav is part of the corporate transactions of the Firm, and is a senior member of the team. Anubhav is involved in several M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions. Anubhav also specializes in EPC contracts and project finance.

Anura is part of the corporate transactions of the Firm, and is a senior member of the team. Anura advises clients on a wide range of laws, such as energy and power sector related laws, companies’ law, foreign exchange laws, securities regulations, and education laws. Anura is involved in several M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions.
Anura specializes in energy laws, and regularly advises clients on negotiating power purchase agreements, particularly in the renewable energy space. She also appears regularly before electricity regulatory commissions in defending several of our clients in their proceedings.

Rajat is part of the dispute resolution team of the Firm. He has been involved in assisting clients from all strata of society in dispute resolution in various forums including the trial courts in Delhi, High court and the Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Sarthak Advocates & Solicitors, Rajat worked in the chamber of Mr. Jawahar Raja and also did independent practice. He also brings on board on-hand experience of policy advisory and legislative drafting. He has worked with the Law & Justice Task Force of Delhi Dialogue Commission and the Department of Law, Delhi Government. In his capacity as advisor/ consultant, he drafted and assisted in consultations with various stake-holders to finalize the scheme for street vendors, minimum wages for domestic workers.
Rajat is a graduate of the Gujarat National Law University at Gandhinagar.
Yukti Anand is part of the dispute resolution team of the Firm. She specializes in commercial litigation, having served various clients in arbitrations and commercial suits in various forums. She regularly appears before Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Punjab and Haryana High Court, district courts, as well as various fora and tribunals, including consumer fora, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, and Debt Recovery Tribunal, and arbitration tribunals.
Prior to joining Sarthak Advocates & Solicitors, Yukti has worked with DSK Legal, Lotus Law Partners, and in the Chambers of Senior Advocate, Mr. Nagendra Rai. Yukti is a graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
Ms. Avantika Shukla is a graduate from Maitreyi College, University of Delhi and an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She is presently practicing as Company Secretary.
Her expertise lies in the field of Corporate Law matters. Her work domain includes advisory and consultancy in the area of company secretarial matters, compliances under foreign exchange laws, insolvency and bankruptcy laws and other related corporate laws. She regularly liasons with various regulatory authorities like Registrar of Companies, Regional Director (MCA) and other government bodies.
Ankita Bhadouriya is part of dispute resolution team of the Firm. She appears before Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, District Courts and Tribunals like National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Debt Recovery Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunal, Delhi State Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission and Central Administrative Tribunal.
Prior to joining Sarthak Advocates & Solicitors, Ankita has worked in the chamber of Advocate M. K. Bhardwaj, New Delhi and in the office of AOR, C.M. Shroff, New Delhi. Ankita is a graduate of MATS University, Chhattisgarh.
Vedant Kumar is a part of the dispute resolution team of the Firm. He has been involved in assisting clients on various commercial matters. Narayan is a part of corporate transaction team of the Firm. His area of interest revolves around Start-ups, General Corporate and Private Equity. Having a strong inclination towards entrepreneurship, he is most empathetic to understand a client's queries and needs. At Sarthak, Narayan practices in core areas of Commercial Law and assists the team in drafting Shareholder's Agreement, Service Agreement amongst other agreements and regularly advises the Clients on plethora of matters. Narayan firmly believes in integrity in the workplace and always looks forward to work with motivated individuals from diverse backgrounds. With strong research-based internship experiences and creative skills, he provides a customised assistance to the Clients. He wishes to gain experience in multiple realms of the corporate legal system and understand its dynamic nature.

Sajal Mendiratta is a graduate of Jindal Global Law School, at O.P. Jindal Global University. At Sarthak, Sajal is part of the dispute resolution team of the Firm. His interests lie in comparative and commercial dispute resolution, and has served and assisted numerous clients in arbitrations and commercial suits in various fora like Delhi High Court, District courts, Arbitral tribunals, National Company Law Tribunal.
Sajal is an accredited mediator, has experience in negotiating commercial disputes, and has helped organise and participated in ADR Competitions and conferences in Paris, Chicago and Dubai.
Kamlesh Kumar is a Senior Consultant to the Firm. He regularly advises the Firm and its clients on legal and commercial issues in Infrastructure sector, in particular, roads and highways, and ports. Mr. Kumar retired as the Additional Director General (Road Development), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and thereafter served as the advisor to the Minister, Road Transport & Highways, Government of India. He also serves as a consultant to the World Bank on road sector.
In a career spanning 39 years, Mr. Kumar has worked in various capacities with the Government of India and has been instrumental in policy formulation, planning and programming, implementation, construction and development and supervision of various roads and highways projects across India. As a testimony to his experience, Mr. Kumar has supervised roads and highways projects in 15 states in India at various points in time. As a General Manager at NHAI in its founding days, Mr. Kumar was one of the key members of the team that formulated the policy for private sector participation in highways, approval of design specification and standards in roads and highways. He also assisted the Rakesh Mohan Committee on Infrastructure (1994-96) for the roads subsector.
Mr. Kumar also served as Director, Port Development and Port Operations, Department of Shipping, Government of India. He was instrumental in policy formulation on matters relating to development and operations of ports, and infrastructure development at major ports, in particular the policy on private operation of port terminals.
Mr. Kumar is a BE (Hons.) (Civil Engn.) from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, and holds an M.Sc (Highway Engineering for Developing Countries) from University of Birmingham, UK. He also holds a Diploma in Export Management from the Foreign Trade Development Center, New Delhi.
Mr. Kumar is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers of India, and a Life Member of Indian Roads Congress.
