An overview
Sarthak is actively engaging in the evolving data protection landscape in India. We are advising several clients on issues of data protection, such as in drafting of terms of use, data protection and privacy policies, preparation of data handling protocols, drafting and reviewing contracts involving issues of data protection, and in handling litigation involving breach of privacy, and data theft, hacking and cyber fraud. We are also working with several clients in ensuring compliance with Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules issued thereunder from time to time, including the recent The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
